Microsoft E3 2019: Most Anticipated Games11th June 2019
If you are anything like me then E3 is one of the most exciting gaming events of the year. Although the big publishers also have their own conferences everyone knows the real reason everyone tunes in is to see what Microsoft and Sony have to offer.
This year is different though with Sony having pulled out of E3, Microsoft was left to put on the big performance.
I’m not going to mention every game that was announced and shown here as there were over 60 in all so these are GamingDogs most anticipated games of the Microsoft E3 Conference 2019.
Ok, so this isn’t a game but deserves to be on the list as it’s the announcement that everyone was waiting for really. Although Microsoft didn’t show any hardware, what they did do was highlight some snippets about the performance and power of Project Scarlett.
Watch the video below for more:
Gears of War 5
If like me you have long fond memories of the Gears of War franchise, then you will no doubt be excited for Gears 5.
After completing Gears of War 4, find out my thoughts on Gears 4 here, I was left looking forward to finding out what is next for our new bunch of COGs.
We are yet to see anything of the standard multiplayer but we were treated to a brand new escape mode where you and two companions need to plant explosives and escape the hoard and the poisonous mist that was released from the explosion.
Of course no doubt one of the biggest games of the show was Halo Infinite. The first game to be announced t be launched alongside Project Scarlett in 2020.
We were treated to a lengthy teaser for the game which showed off some lighting and reintroduced Master Chief to the series.
From the looks of the trailer, I feel there’s still much development work to do as it didn’t look much like a next-generation game to me.
It was also announced that Halo Infinite will also be available on current gen machines.
Out of all the games shown at Microsoft’s conference, none caused quite a stir as CD Project Red’s long-awaited futuristic Bladerunneresque RPG.
This game was announced with a teaser a few years ago now but from the trailer, we were treated to the looks sure to not disappoint. With a fully realised world of the future filled with characters and stories to uncover.
Cyberpunk 2077 was no doubt the biggest game that was shown to us bar far, you could tell that by the reaction of the audience.
Oh, and there’s just the little thing of Keanu Reeves in the game. Pure gold.
And that’s it for me although there were many games on display those were my favourites.
