5 Christmas Gifts For Gamers

1st December 2018 Off By Bagwag82

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. De de de de de. Well it’s that time of year again when know one knows what to get for each other. If you game a gaming friend or family member then here are GamingDog’s 10 Christmas gifts for gamers.

1. Gaming Socks

Character socks, artsy socks, logo socks, socks of all colours will make you and your gamer friend smile an excellent Christmas gift for a gamer.

Check out some of my funky gaming sock that family and friends have bought me for past Christmas’.

You can by them from lots of places but the largest choice can be found on eBay.

2. Gaming Subscription

Gaming subscriptions come in many forms these days with something to suit everyone and some better value for money including:

  • PlayStation Plus – £49.99
  • PlayStation Now – £59.99 per year or £12.99 per month
  • Xbox Games with Gold – £39.99 per year, £14.99 per 3 months or £5.99 per month
  • Xbox Game Pass – £7.99 per month
  • Nintendo Online Service – £17.99 per year, £6.99 per 3 months or £3.49 per month
  • EA Access – £19.99 per year or £3.99 per month
  • Twitch Prime – £7.99 per month

Obviously to purchase all of these subscription would cost a fortune so I’d recommend picking the console that your gamer plays most.

If they are big gamers then they would probably already have a PS+ or Games with Gold Subscription so maybe an Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Now subscription would be an idea.

EA Access is available on Xbox One and PC but if you ask me it’s not that great value for money.

The Nintendo Online Service is for Switch owners. They need this is they want to play online and more.

3. Limited Edition Games

These are great Christmas gifts for gamers. Although limited edition games come at a premium price, they do come with some nice items bundled in with them such as:

  • Collectable figures
  • Art books
  • Behind the scenes booklets
  • Soundtracks on CD

Limited edition games come at a premium price but your gaming friends and loved ones will cherish them for a long time.

These cost from about a fiver each and come in a massive range of designs are are a great stocking filler for any gamer.
