Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – The Late Review29th October 2018
Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch is a game I’ve been playing on and off since I purchased my Switch. I’ve been wanting to write a post about this game for a while but wasn’t sure what it should be.
It’s not a late to the party piece as it’s not an old Switch game yet the original version released on the Wii U a couple of years back. So I guess this is kind of a late review or just my thoughts on the game.
For me, Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Is a highly polished game. It’s got that sheen to it that most other Nintendo first party games have like Super Mario Odyssey.
Let’s Switch to Multiplayer
I only dabbled in online multiplayer a couple of times as I was too busy focusing on trying every track at least once and bettering my position on others.
It’s obviously a family friendly game that’s enjoyable and fun mainly in multiplayer couch co-op.
I say this because couch co-op allows for all kinds of banter with your mates and family.
Too Much Too Soon
I found playing solo a bit boring after a bit. As there were so many tracks and playable characters it felt like a bit of a chore to race as each character and on each track.

Imagine if Super Mario Odyssey gave you all the collectables from the
Ok so that’s probably not the best comparison but you get what I mean.
I suppose the one thing you do get to unlock as you progress is different vehicles. Each with their own glider styles.
This post is sounding a bit negative and unfair and the game doesn’t deserve that. Super
Overall Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great game with scoops of charisma drowning in charm.
It’s lots of fun playing against friends with a few beers. If you want a real challenge though it’s best to play online against the rest of the world.
I’ve had some great moments just check out my glide to the finish below.
Belly full of content, modes and online play makes Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the best racer on the Switch in my eyes. I do recommend purchasing I’ve you’ve been sitting on the fence.
Oh and don’t forget that you need a Nintendo Online account to play online against the world.
Thanks for taking the time to read this far. I appreciate it. If you liked this post then please take the time to check out some of my other posts.
