Top 3 No Man’s Sky Tips have been fun for me, that’s why I have spent a lot of time and effort to put together these useful tips posts for everyone to enjoy. I think the next tips post will be my last for this game.
There are a couple of reasons, one I think I’m nearly done with the game. The grind to get to the centre of the universe is too much for me. The second is that I’m running out of No Man’s Sky tips to write about.
Anyway, that’s enough of me going on, let us dive right in.
Top 3 No Man’s Sky Tips – Tip 1: Let’s get all Exotic
If you land on a planet and you discover an exotic mineral in abundance, make sure you mine it for all it’s worth.
I have visited many many worlds and until the other day I had never heard of Murrine. I have never even see the mineral before on a planet. So I mined away, take into consideration this particular mineral took me ages to mine as it was so tough. After mining the mineral one and only receiving x5 in quantity I thought yes this must be worth a pretty penny.
After a few hours of mining, I headed on up to the space station to cash in my goods. For a quantity of one, I received 507 units. I’m sure I could have got more if I had held on to them and shopped around for the best buying price at different space stations.
Top 3 No Man’s Sky Tips – Tip 2: Flying towards a Star
Don’t bother trying to fly towards a star in a solar system. There are two reasons. The first one is because it will take you absolutely ages. The second reason is because you will eventually be attacked by space pirates. You will eventually get killed by these enemies and when that happens you will freak out with raging anger.
Why’s that you ask? Well you see after you travelled all that way towards the star and died, that is where you grave will be, meaning that you will need to fly all that distance again if you are to retrieve all of your items from your floating diamond shaped grave. Grrrr!!!!
Top 3 No Man’s Sky Tips – Tip 3: Black Holes
The way I tend to find black holes in the No Man’s Sky universe is a simple one really. I jump from star system to star system until eventually I am alerted that there is an anomaly nearby.
Anomalies are usually giant, dark metallic, orb-shaped spacecraft. Kind of like a smaller space station.
When you find one head on over to its tractor beam and let it take you deep inside. When you land venture inside and speak to both the little alien guy for a reward and the tall alien priest. The priest will give you three options. Make sure you select the shortcut to the centre of the galaxy option. You will then receive coordinates to the nearest black hole.

Next, you will need to go back to your ship and launch back into space. Once you are out, open up the galactic map and the path towards the black hole will be shown to you.
If you have upgraded your starships gear, then you may be able to jump straight to the star system containing the black hole.
